It's been over 15 years since the U.S. had set up extensive handgun trials to replace the aging .45 1911 models that had served the armed forces. 10 years after the acceptance of the Beretta 92F, shooters of military, law enforcement, and recreational applications had much time and choice in between to sample all makes, models, calibers, etc. In 1994, the prestigious gun-maker known as H&K of Germany introduced a new handgun combining certain old features desired by up to the USP or Universal Self-Loading Pistol, a pistol most shooting enthusiasts would consier a state-of-the-art handgun. KJW 's gas version of the USP is about as close as the shooter can get to the real steel/plastic USP in terms of scale, detail, opertation, and accessory. It is one of the finest AirSoft guns manufactured, if not state-of-the-art. It's fast, clean, inexpensive and easily maintained. Its hard to find a better airsoft pistol.
